DAY 11 & DAY 12

I sort of threw my new routine out the window for the last couple days so I could spend the whole time bringing Little Plastic Stars online for real and onto all the social networking sites. It was totally worth it.

I've made sure to meditate and exercise every morning and night, though.

DAY 10

I woke up. Attempted to do the group meditation alone. I did alright, though it was hard to keep focused near the end.

I did my exercises pretty well.

Wrote some new beats.

Typical day. Nothing out of the ordinary.

DAY 9

Today was good. I didn't read any of the books, but I did meditate for somewhere around 40-50 minutes. A guided meditation with this new guru.

Didn't exercise today. I definitely feel the effects of not having done that. Not to say I didn't have a good day, because I actually had pretty good day. I feel sort of physically weak, sorta say.

I had Subway, which is a healthy enough food choice. I did have cake for breakfast so there's a bit of a trade off there.

I had band practice. Looks like Brandon's time with the band might be coming to a close. He's immature and he doesn't take practice too seriously. Danny's brother is a drummer also for a pretty awesome and tight-sounding band. It's not my kind of music, but he's professional, a rock drummer, and mature. Most importantly, mature. Jordan, Danny and I are going to be practicing with him on Friday in Danny's basement. Can't wait to see what happens.

I'm also in talks with another local band's singer that is friends with our band. I want to do guest vocals on a song with him on stage. He's gonna come over possibly tomorrow and we're gonna talk more about it. Jordan wants him to be a guest guitarist with us on stage for one of our songs. Can't wait.

Had Dad's client's son come by with his mom 'cause he's 14. He's a pianist that sounds as good as me, also inspired by Ben Folds, with a mother that supports him completely. Hope I get to see him again. I like to meet up with musicians.

It's 9:50 right now. I'm not gonna make my 10PM deadline for sleep tonight exactly, but I'll come close to it. Time to call it, finish this tea, meditate, exercise, and go to bed.

DAY 8

I read my three books, I did some guided meditation (through videos) with this great teacher I found online, I made my bed, I just ate breakfast, I watched videos on production and mixing and learned techniques that really helped me out. So far, it's been a pretty productive day.

I reached 500 plays this morning on "Damaged Goods" in under a month. I feel pretty good about that. I'm about to continue working on "Music Success In Nine Weeks" and call Ed in a couple hours to spend time with him.

---

So Ed realized that it was next weekend. Which is fine because I love spending as much time as I possibly can alone.

I'm not going to bed until late. I was watching a movie on my computer.

I baked a cake.

I found myself doing more exercises today. I like how it makes me feel.

Night.

DAY 7

1. Performed on a stage.
2. Spent some time with Brandon.
3. Interacted with the crowd.
4. Remembered all of the lyrics.
5. Called Carla Scott to set up time with her son on Monday.

Yesterday was good. Meditated as best I could. I made sure to shut my phone off as I didn't need yet another possible distraction.

Spent most of the day actually with the band because we had a performance that night. I think we did pretty good. I definitely stepped it up and made sure to look at the audience this time. I even interacted with them which is something I wanted to make sure that I did. In the end, 4 people wanted our signatures in case we "made it big". I made the audience laugh a couple times which still blew my mind. I can't really believe I could do that until I actually did that. It felt great. I truly love being on stage because I allow myself to do things I wouldn't normally do off stage like actually point at a girl and she "she's the one I want" and watch her blush and smile. Between songs, I said, "Valentine's Day just went by. Pretty lonely, right?" And one girl said, "I'll be your valentine next year!" And so I said, "Well, I'll hold you to that." Then a guy said it and I said, "Well, I'll e both of your valentines then." After the concert, he friended me on Facebook.

I also scheduled time with Dad's client's son. I guess he's as much of a music lover and musician as I am and he's only 14.

I didn't sleep until 2am last night, but I actually feel pretty happy and content right now so I'm not entirely sure that it's the amount of sleep that I get. I got about 8 hours of sleep. I'm starting to think that it depends on how much I actually get done right out the gate.

DAY 6

1. Reworked songs.
2. Talked with Dad about the new version of "Slave To Karma".
3. Drank a ton of water and tea.
4. Timed the dishwasher.
5. Started "Music Success In Nine Weeks".

-----------------------------------

The day started out sloppy. I watched too much YouTube instead of doing anything productive and it stayed that way until about 2:30 when I started "Music Success In Nine Weeks", got a great pitch idea, worked on some tracks, and drank a copious amount of tea and water.

I did not meditate. I was going to, but then I went to masturbate instead because I could not focus. I never went back to meditate. However, in a strange occurrence, I made sure to exercise.

I ate sausages that didn't sit too well. They were past the "sell by" date by about a month.

I talked with Dad about a new version of "Slave To Karma" and he got really critical and suggestive. But I believe that when he gets really into it, he likes the progress, so I don't think badly of his reaction.

I've got a theory. the more sleep I get, the more grounded I feel and the happier I am throughout the day. I think that meditation also plays a part in that as well as exercising. I've got to make sure to do all three every morning. If I'm turned on while I'm trying to meditate, I need to masturbate without turning the computer on. A good fix is the cell phone instead.

I'm going to go record some more caller IDs and then make sure to meditate... maybe some classical music to clear my head. I still feel a little ill because of the sausage. Maybe I didn't fry it long enough or something.

DAY 5

Confession. I did watch more TV than I said I would. Half with Gina though, so I'm not too ashamed.

I meditated for about five minutes. I was too squirmy and anxious to sit still. Anything productive I did was work on Little Plastic Stars. I didn't work on anything for the near future which leaves me feeling a little empty.

I did spend time with Gina, so not all is bad.
